EAGLE SPRINGS Teen boy’s center

The program includes education, mentoring, guidance, life and social skills, and spiritual direction. A well-rounded approach is offered. Certified counseling is also given individually and in groups.

To allow the time needed to gain practical skills to live a meaningful, addictive-free life and to grow emotionally and spiritually, the program is 12-18 months in length. This also helps facilitate the healing and growth needed without the stressors that prompted the addictive lifestyle.

For parents wondering where to find a place to help your son, you are not alone! Many teens and their families are struggling with similar problems.

The heart of the staff at the Eagle Springs Boy’s Center is to facilitate healing. Our staff is committed to helping young men find stability. Here, anger transforms into peace, depression into joy, and disorderly behavior into self-control. We desire to see young men transform, learn skills needed in life and know their purpose.

About the Boy’s Center

  • Eagle Springs directors and family

    Director

David Gish, Eagle Springs Teen Boy’s Center Director.

David graduated from Teen Challenge and was an intern at the boy’s center where he gained valuable experience and a deeper understanding of the needs of at-risk youth. Following the internship, he became a welder and started his own business. While there, he taught welding to youth and enjoyed sharing his skills and mentoring the next generation. However, David felt a calling to return to the boy’s center and serve as the director. He is humbled and grateful for this role and is constantly amazed by the transformative power of God’s love in young men’s lives. David considers it an honor to be part of the boys’ journeys and is inspired by their resilience, courage, and determination.

    Campus/Meals Info

The Eagle Springs Teen Boy’s Center is in a large home located on the outskirts of Sparks, NV. The rooms are designed to accommodate up to four boys each. There is designated space on the campus for playing basketball and other sports. A weight room is also provided to help with physical wellness. Exercise has mental and emotional benefits and is an emphasis in our comprehensive approach.

Another component of the comprehensive care given is nutritious, healthy, tasty meals and snacks. Nutrition is a very important part of healing and recovery. Great care is taken to make sure meals are well balanced nutritionally. The teens also gain experience in food preparation, with supervision. These are life-long practical skills in addition to the other skills learned in the program.

Each person on staff is background checked, medically screened, CPR and First Aid certified.
